IT'S A MESS!

Oh, the joys of a 100 year old home!

My husband (he wants to remain anonymous and won't let me use his name even though I don't have any readers I'm not related to) found a live gas line in our ceiling when he removed the old light fixture. A plumber came out yesterday and capped the gas line which required making a huge hole in the plaster ceiling. It's a mess! There are bits of plaster and dust all over and the ceiling repair has already required three trips to the home improvement store.

My mom came and painted my desk! It's Fiji now - no more sapphire. It looks really good with the bedding but it's almost impossible to take a daylight picture showing both.
